Lighting Detectives Stockholm
Studied interior design at the University of Fine Arts in Stockholm (Konstfack) and architecture at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. Since 1977 he has been engaged in scientific and educational work at the same Institute. In 1993 he founded Ejhed Architects, Light & Design, where he is working in the field of architectural lighting. Projects he has worked on include: Museum of Modern Art, Arlanda airport in Stockholm, Midlanda airport, master plan for Djurgården, Stockholm.
Since 1996 he has taught lighting at the Konstfack, and in 2000 together with Agneta Ejhed he founded Lighting Laboratory at the KTH (international master programme), which very quickly gained world-wide acknowledgement. He teaches at the University in Kalmar as a guest professor, and also gives lectures at different universities around the world.
He is a member of the PLDA, being its president from 2005 till 2008. He is the author of many specialised texts about architectural lighting.
